Genius has announced the ECO-u500 and ECO-u1000, long-life and portable universal power banks with Grade A Samsung cells for recharging both smartphones and tablets, are now available in the US. The ECO’s two USB ports enable two devices to be recharged at the same time, multiple times on the same charge.

The ECO-u500 and ECO-u1000 have large capacities of 5,200 and 10,400 mAh, respectively, which means that when completely charged, the ECO-u1000 can fully recharge the latest high-end smartphones up to four times and 7-inch tablets more than two times. The device supports all major smartphone and tablet brands, including Acer, Asus, Apple, HTC, Samsung, Nokia, and Sony.

Up to two portable devices (up to 2.1 amps) can be simultaneously recharged with these Genius power banks. To recharge your portable device, simply connect it to the power bank using the built-in Micro USB cable or plug in a USB cable to one of the two USB ports. Recharging will not interrupt the use of your portable device.

Available in black or white, the sleek cover of this compact and light power bank makes it an aesthetic match for any smartphone and tablet. The built-in Micro USB cable means that you do not need to bring a cable with you when wanting to recharge your portable device when on-the-go. The power status of both ECO-u500 and ECO-u1000 can be seen from the LED power capacity indicator.

The Grade A Samsung cells have an extremely long lifespan — they can be fully recharged more than 500 times.

The ECO-u500 and ECO-u1000 are currently available in the US for the suggested retail price of USD 34.99 and USD 64.99, respectively.
