Gelid is launching a second revision of its Silent Spirit CPU cooler. The “Rev. 2 Silent Spirit” features four copper heatpipes with direct contact to the CPU surface, aluminum fins, and a 92 mm fan.
The heatsink is aligned at a specific angle to provide best air flow to a maximum surface. Therefore, the Northbridge (chipset) heatsink and the voltage regulator modules located close to the CPU can be cooled as well.
The cooler is compatible with Intel (sockets 775, 1155, 1156) and AMD (sockets 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1), and has a suggested retail price of USD 35.
