GeIL Announces Green Memory Series

GeIL seems to be worried about saving our environment because they launched an eco-friendly memory series. Available in 1 GB and 2 GB modules, and 2 GB (1 GB x2) and 4 GB (2 GB x 2) kits, this new series is comprised with DDR2 modules powered at 1.6 V, as opposed to the JEDEC standard, which is 1.8 V, and their packing is made of recycled paper pulp. GeIL Green Series works at 667 MHz (with 5-5-5-15 timings), 800 MHz (with 5-5-5-15 timings) and 1,066 MHz (with 6-6-6-18 timings).
