Enermax Launches NAXN Power Supply Series
By Cássio Lima on February 8, 2011 - 10:51 AM

Enermax has introduced the NAXN series of power supplies, which is divided into another three sub-series: NAXN (Tomahawk II), NAXN 80+, and NAXN 82+. The first two have no modular cabling system, while the last one has. All of them feature a 120-mm fan (135-mm in NAXN 82+ series), but only the last two series have the HeatGuard function, which keeps the fan running for 30 to 60 seconds after shutdown to dissipate heat.

The NAXN (Tomahawk II) units are available in 350 W, 450 W, and 550 W models, have active PFC, two +12 V rails, and protections against over power (OPP), over voltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), over temperature (OTP), and short-circuit (SCP).

The NAXN 80+ units are available in 350 W, 450 W, 500 W, and 600 W models, have active PFC, 80 Plus standard certification, two +12 V rails, and protections against over power (OPP), over voltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), over temperature (OTP), and short-circuit (SCP).

The NAXN 82+ units are available in 750 W, and 850 W models, have active PFC, 80 Plus Bronze certification, two (750 W model) or four (850 W model) +12 V rails, and protections against over power (OPP), over voltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), over temperature (OTP), and short-circuit (SCP).

Enermax did not provide information on pricing.
