EVGA Intros the SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified Power Supply

This week, EVGA launched the SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified (120-PG-1500-XR), a 1,500 W power supply aimed at enthusiasts and overclock freaks. The product has an overclock mode that increases the maximum power output up to 1,650 W with 230 V AC input; a modular cabling system; Japanese capacitors; 80 Plus Gold certification; a dual ball bearing fan; and OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection), and OTP (Over Temperature Protection). The unit allows users to switch between single or multiple +12 V rails.
The SuperNOVA software allows users to monitor voltage, current drawn on each rail, and power used efficiency, as well as enabling users to change the fan profile and even adjust the +12 V rail.
The SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified Power Supply is priced at USD 449.99.
