EVGA launched today two GeForce GTX 460 video cards within their FTW series, one following NVIDIA's reference cooling design (01G-P3-1377-TR) and one custom-designed (01G-P3-1378-TR). Both work internally at 850 MHz (25.93% above the stock clock of 675 MHz), have 1 GB of GDDR5 running at 4 GHz QDR (11.11% above the stock clock of 3.6 GHz QDR) through a 256-bit interface, have DVI and HDMI connectors, and make use of a heatsink that cools at least the video card voltage regulator circuit. The difference between these two models is that the custom-design model has an external exhaust. The external-exhaust model is priced at USD 269.99, while the model using the standard cooling solution is priced at USD 259.99.
