EVGA Announces X58 SLI Classified Motherboard

EVGA has just announced its X58 SLI Classified (141-BL-E759-A1) motherboard. According to the company this is one of the most feature-rich LGA-1366 motherboards launched so far. Based on Intel X58 chipset, this board is targeted to rich overclockers and features two 8-pin 12V connectors (to provide more current to the CPU), processor voltage regulator circuit with 10 phases (memory power voltage circuit with four phases), solid caps, more amount of gold in the CPU socket than normal, six DDR3-1600 (12 GB max) sockets, four PCI Express x16/x8 slots, one PCI Express x1 slot, one PCI slot, nine SATA-300 ports (supporting RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5, JBOD), one eSATA port, one IDE port, eight USB 2.0 ports (four on the rear part of the board and four available through adapters), two Firewire ports (one on the rear part of the board and other available through adapter), a floppy disk drive connector, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, 8-channel audio, POST diagnostics display and on-board Power and Reset buttons.
