ECS has just launched its newest socket AM3 motherboard within the Black Series, their A890GXM-A2. This new ATX motherboard is based on the 890GX chipset and features integrated video (ATI Radeon HD 4290) with 128 MB DDR3-1333 on-board to speed-up video (a feature called SidePort), four DDR3 sockets (32 GB max), three PCI Express x16 slots, one PCI Express x1 slot, and one slot standard PCI slot.

The A890GXM-A2 provides five SATA-600 ports and one eSATA-600, all of them supporting RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. Audio is generated by the chipset using a Realtek ALC892 codec (8-channel, no more technical information was provided). This motherboard has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs.

The motherboard price was not announced.

By the way, we’ve already written about another ECS socket AM3 motherboard based on the 890GX chipset, the A890GXM-A. Take a look here.
