ECS Launches USB 3.0 and SATA-600 Expansion Cards

ECS announced today the launch of U3N2 and S6M2 expansion cards compatible with USB 3.0 and SATA-600 interfaces to provide USB 3.0 and SATA-600 ports to computers without these interfaces, respectively. U3N2 is a PCI Express x1 card equipped with a NEC D720200F1 controller chip and provides two USB 3.0 ports (backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 devices). S6M2 is also a PCI Express x1 card, is controlled by a Marvell 88SE9128 chip and offers two SATA-600 ports, one internal and one external. No word on pricing and availability.
