Creative announced the limited edition Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro sound card featuring 113 dB SNR Digital to Analog Converters (DACs) for 24-bit HD audio. It includes an external I/O hub with analog stereo connectors for six-channel input, optical and coaxial digital I/O, full-sized MIDI I/O, microphone with gain control, headphone and volume control and two FireWire ports. The new Creative Smart Recorder software supports automatic scheduling of recordings from any source and cuts the single audio stream into individual tracks. The pack includes the games “Thief: Deadly Shadows” and “Hitman: Contracts”. Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro will be available this month priced at US$ 299.
