Cougar Launches PowerX Series of PSUs

Cougar has expanded its power supply offering with the launch of the PowerX Series. Available in two versions (500 W and 700 W), these units are compatible with the ATX12V specification, feature 80 Plus Bronze certification, active PFC circuitry, Japanese capacitors, two +12 V rails, and under voltage protection (UVP), over voltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP), overload protection (OPP), over current protection (OCP), and over temperature protection (OTP).

PowerX series uses a temperature-controlled, 120 mm fan that adapts its rotating speed according to the PSU temperature.
