Cooler Master Intros Silent Pro Gold PSUs

Cooler Master has launched Silent Pro Gold series of power supply. Comprised of 600 W, 700 W, 800 W, 900 W, 1000 W and 1200 W models, these new units are compatible with ATX12V V2.3 and EPS12V V2.92 standards, have modular cabling system, active PFC, 80 Plus Gold certification, a +12 V single rail design, Japanese caps, protections against over voltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), over current (OCP), over power (OPP), over temperature and short-circuit (SCP), and are cooled by a 120-mm or a 135-mm fan (1000 W and 1200 W models). These new PSUs make use of a hybrid transformer (transformer attached to a heatsink) and an L-shaped heatsink with heatpipe for better cooling. No word on pricing and availability.
