Computex 2012: Synology Launches NAS with Integrated WiFi Router
By Gabriel Torres on June 13, 2012 - 1:23 PM

During Computex, Synology released an NAS box with an integrated WiFi router. This way, users who want to have an NAS box at their home or office network for storing and sharing files won’t need to buy a separate router to set up their networks. Because the box has WiFi capability, all computers and WiFi-capable equipment such as tablets and smart phones can access the data stored in the box wirelessly.

The DiskStation DS213air, as it is called, has two hard drive bays, supporting RAID and data encryption. It is based on a 1.6 GHz CPU with 256 MB of DDR3 memory. It also has USB 3.0 ports.
