Patriot has expanded their media player line-up with the launch of the PBO Alpine model.
The PBO Alpine is equipped with an ARM926 processor and supports HD video output in full 1,080p resolution at 30 frames per second. It comes preloaded with iRadio, iTV, YouTube, Picasa, and a fully functional web browser. For enthusiasts, the PBO Alpine offers support for user developed apps that can be side-loaded for custom functionality.
The new Patriot’s media player also features two USB 2.0 ports, one SD card reader, and comes with the Android operating system installed.
See below the file formats supported by the PBO Alpine:
- Video: M-JPEG, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, VC-1, DivX, Xvid, RealVideo, VP6, and .MKV
- Audio: ACC-LC/HEACC/HE-AAC v2, DTS, AC3, AMR-NB, DTS, MP3, OGG, and RA_COOK
