CES 2012: EVGA To Enter the Power Supply Market
By Gabriel Torres on January 17, 2012 - 5:01 PM

EVGA revealed to us during our meeting that they will enter the power supply market this year, around March or April. Initially, four wattages will be offered: 650 W, 750 W, 1,000 W, and 1,500 W. They will have models with the 80 Plus Bronze certification for the first two wattages, and models with the 80 Plus Gold certification for all wattages. The 1,500 W model will be able to deliver 1,650 W if an “overclocking mode” button is pushed, which causes the fan to spin at its maximum speed. This model will also offer switches for you to select how many +12 V rails you want. EVGA declined to comment on their OEM.
