During this CES, Corsair announced two new mid-tower computer cases, the Obsidian Series 550D and the Carbide Series 300R.
The Obsidian Series 550D offers eight expansion slots, four external 5.25” bays, and six internal 3.5”/2.5” bays. It has an aluminum front door that can be opened to either side; you can also remove it. It is focused on silence, as the side, front, and top panels have a foam sheet to reduce noise. All air filters are magnetic.
The Carbide Series 300R is targeted to the mainstream market, offering seven expansion slots, three external 5.25” bays and four internal 3.5”/2.5” bays.
