CES 2009: New EeePC Generation

Today during a press conference ASUS showed a video featuring the first notebook from the new EeePC generation, T91, which will have a 8.9” touch-screen display with Tablet PC capability (i.e. you can rotate the screen and write as if you were making notes on a notebook). T91 will be equipped with Atom Z520 processor, will have 1” thickness, will weight 2 lbs and will come with Windows XP Home Edition installed. TV turner and GPS will be optional features. The first T91 prototypes should surface up to CeBIT (early March).
