Apple has just announced two smartphones: the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Both are very similar to the iPhone 5 original.

The iPhone 5S features a A7 chip with 64-bit architecture, a 4-inch (diagonal) Retina display (1136-by-640 resolution), a 8 megapixels rear facing camera with 15% larger sensor area, and Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n; 802.11n on 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS technologies. The home button was replaced with Apple’s new Touch ID fingerprint sensor, with support built in to iOS 7.

The 5S will be available starting on September 20th in 16 GB (USD 199), 32 GB (USD 299), and 64 GB (USD 399) models.

The iPhone 5C features a A6 CPU, 4-inch (diagonal) Retina display (1136-by-640 resolution), a 8 megapixels rear facing camera, and Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n; 802.11n on 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS technologies. This model lacks the fingerprint sensor.

The 5C will be available in 16 GB (USD 99) and 32 GB (USD 199) flavors.
