Antec to Launch High Current Gamer Plus PSU Series
By Cássio Lima on May 30, 2011 - 8:21 AM

During this Computex, Antec will be showing a brand-new power supply series especially designed for gamers and enthusiasts, the High Current Gamer Plus. It can be distinguished from the original High Current Gamer series by having a modular cabling system, a 135 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan (the fan used on the High Current Gamer units is a dual ball bearing model), and a DC-DC design.

The High Current Gamer Plus power supplies will be compatible with the ATX12V v2.32 and EPS12V v2.92 standards, will have an active PFC circuit, four +12 V rails, 80 Plus Bronze certification, Japanese capacitors, and protections against over current (OCP), over voltage (OVP), short-circuit (SCP), over power (OPP), and over temperature (OTP) protections.

This new power supply series from Antec will be available in August, in 550 W, 650 W, and 750 W models.
