AMD Launches Radeon HD 6670 and HD 6570

The AMD Radeon HD 6000 series has gained two new members: Radeon HD 6670 and HD 6570.  Both are mainstream products suitable for HTPC (home theater PC) and small factor computers.

The Radeon HD 6670 works internally at 800 MHz, has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory accessed at 4 GHz through a 128-bit interface, and a TDP of 66 W.

The Radeon HD 6570 works internally at 650 MHz, can be configured with 512 MB of GDDR5 memory (4 GHz) or 1 GB of DDR3 (1.8 GHz) accessed through a 128-bit interface, and comes with a TDP of 60 W (GDDR5 memory) or 44 W (DDR3 memory).

In terms of pricing, the Radeon HD 6670 and HD 6570 reach the US market costing USD 99 and USD 79, respectively.
