AMD Intros ATI Radeon HD 2600 and HD 2400

AMD unleashes ATI Radeon HD 2600 and ATI Radeon HD 2400, both from HD 2000 series. All GPUs from Radeon HD 2000 series features DirectX 10 support and HD media playback.

Radeon HD 2600 comes with 128-bit DDR2/GDDR3/GDDR4 memory interface, Shader Model 4.0, Hardware processed 1080p video playback of Blu-ray and HD DVDs and HDMI with 5.1 surround sound audio.

Radeon HD 2400 features 64-bit DDR2/GDDR3 memory interface, Shader Model 4.0, Hardware based H.264/VC-1 decoding of Blu-ray and HD DVDs and HDMI with 5.1 surround sound audio.
