A-Data Enters the Power Supply Market

A-Data, a well-known memory manufacturer, is entering the power supply market with the launch of the HM series, comprised with 550 W, 650 W, 750 W, 850 W, and 1,200 W models. The units from this new series are compatible with ATX12V v2.3 standard, feature modular cabling system, active PFC circuit, 80 Plus Bronze certification, a single 12 V rail (the 1,200 W model features two 12 V rails), only Japanese caps, a dual-bearing fan with a tri-color output power display (green for low load; blue for normal load; red for full load), and protections against over current (OCP), over voltage (OVP), over power (OPP), short-circuit (SCP), under voltage (UVP), and over temperature (OTP). No word on pricing.
