A-Data announced the S511 family of solid state drives, which is comprised of 60 GB, 120 GB, 240 GB, and 480 GB models. These new drives come in a 2.5” form factor, feature a SandForce SF-2281 controller, MLC memory chips, SATA-600 interface, and provide maximum read and write speeds of up to 550 MB/s and 520 MB/s, respectively.
