Diamond reenters sound card market

Diamond Multimedia is reentering the sound card market with two products. The Xtreme Sound incorporates 24-bit Dolby 7.1 surround sound, 10-band equalizer, preset audio environments, headphone, speeker and a multi-track recording and editing studio (Audacity). The Xtreme Sound DDL adds Double Digital Live, which converts audio signals into a Dolby Digital bitstream, for transport and playback through a home theater system. Suggested retail prices are USD 30 and USD 60.
