Arctic Cooling has launched a new series of CPU coolers based on heatpipe technology. The Freezer 7 Pro (socket 775) and Freezer 64 Pro (754/939) have six active copper heatpipes and use ceramic bearing. In both cases, the 80 mm fan, which rotates at 300 to 2,500 rpm, is suspended onto a vibration dampened frame to avoid noise. Preinstalled thermal compound eases installation. Suggested retail price is USD 34. | |
