Two major groups formerly battling to define the upcoming Wi-Fi 802.11n standard have agreed to present a joint proposal to the IEEE. TGn Sync and WwiSE, along with a third partner, MitMot, are expected to deliver a draft in September and submit a final version in November. The 802.11n, based on MIMO and OFDM technologies, will allow speeds of up to almost 600 Mbps.
