Apple has announced the launch of its latest device, iPad. It is a tablet PC featuring a 9.7” touch screen display (native resolution of 1024x768) that allows users to access the Internet, photos, music, video, e-books and games. The device weighs 1.6 lbs (730g), has WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G (in certain models) connectivity and is available in 16 GB (USD 499; USD 629 with 3G), 32 GB (USD 599; USD 729 with 3G) and 64 GB (USD 699; USD 829 with 3G). iPad's battery enables up to 10 hours of operation and it can also runs iPhone applications.
