NVIDIA Launches GeForce GT 240

NVIDIA has just launched one more 40-nm desktop GPU, GeForce GT 240. This new chip works internally at 550 MHz, accesses its 1 GB or 512 MB at 1,700 MHz GDDR5 (3.6 GHz QDR), 1,000 MHz GDDR3 (2 GHz DDR) or 900 MHz DDR3 (1.8 GHz DDR) through a 128-bit interface, has 96 processors running at 1,340 MHz and supports DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.2 programming models.
