Akasa Launches Freedom Xone Mid-tower Case

Akasa has launched Freedom Xone mid-tower case (AK-BKXNE-01). Featuring four 5 ¼” external bays, one 3 ½” external bay, five 3 ½” internal bays and seven slots for expansion cards, this new case from Akasa is built-up in zinc-coated steel (SECC) and measures 17.51” x 7.87” x 18.97” or 44.5 cm x 20 cm x 48.2 cm (H x W x D). As for cooling, Freedom comes with a 120-mm fan on the frontal panel (1,200 rpm; white LED), one 140-mm fan on the top panel (1,000 rpm) and supports the installation of three optional 120-mm fans (two on the side panel and one on the rear panel). This case has two USB ports, one eSATA port, tool-less mechanism for hard drive installation and water-cooling support. No word on pricing and availability.
