AMD Launches Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition

AMD has just introduced on the market Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition, a 45-nm quad-core processor based on socket AM3 that works internally at 3.4 GHz, has 2 MB L2 cache, 6 MB L3 cache, a built-in DDR2/DDR3 memory controller, 4 GHz HyperTransport bus and TDP of 140 W. By being a “Black Edition” model this new processor has its clock multiplier unlocked and thus targeted to overclockers. Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition has a suggested price of USD 245.
