AMD Unveils Athlon II X2 245 and 240

AMD has just officially launched socket AM3-based Athlon II X2 245 (2.9 GHz) and 240 (2.8 GHz) processors. Manufactured on 45 nm technology, these new dual-core processors have 2 MB L2 cache, HyperTransport 3.0 (4 GT/s) bus, built-in DDR2/DDR3 memory controller and TDP of 65 W. They should reach the market soon costing around USD 65.
