GeIL Announces DDR3 Green Memory Series

GeIL has increased its “Green” product line-up with the launch of four DDR3 memory kits. Available in 2 GB (1 GB x 2) and 4 GB (2 GB x 2) kits, theses new kits are comprised with DDR3 modules powered at 1.3 V, instead of 1.5 V as defined by JEDEC specification. Also, these kits come inside a recycled paper packaging.

GeIL DDR3 Green modules work at 1,066 MHz (8-8-8-20 timings) and 1,333 MHz (9-9-9-9-24 timings). No word on pricing and availability.
