Patriot has just announced its Viper II memory series. Available in 6 GB (3 x 2 GB) triple-channel kits and in 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) dual-channel kits, Viper II modules feature an aluminum heatspreader and support XMP (Extreme Memory Profiles) technology, which allows memory modules to negotiate with the motherboard chipset the best latencies and highest clock rate they can work in order to provide the highest possible performance. No word on pricing.
- PV234G1600LLK: 4 GB DDR3 dual-channel kit clock at 1,600 MHz with 7-7-7-20 timings at 1.9 V.
- PV234G1800LLK: 4 GB DDR3 dual-channel kit clock at 1,800 MHz with 8-8-8-24 timings at 1.9 V.
- PV236G1800LLK: 6 GB DDR3 triple-channel kit clock at 1,800 MHz with 8-8-8-24 timings at 1.65 V.
- PV236G1866LLK: 6 GB DDR3 triple-channel kit clock at 1,866 MHz with 7-8-8-24 timings at 1.65 V.
- PV236G2000LLK: 6 GB DDR3 triple-channel kit clock at 2,000 MHz with 8-8-8-24 timings at 1.65 V.
