Patriot has launched two HDD/SSD enclosures, Convoy and Convoy XL. Convoy is a 3.5” internal device, taking one of the 3 ½” internal bays on the computer case, can hold two 2.5” HDD/SSD drives and has SATA-300 and USB interfaces. Convoy XL, on the other hand, is an external device, can house two 2.5” HDD/SSD drives, has USB and eSATA interfaces and comes with a built-in RAID controller (RAID 0, 1). No word on pricing and availability.
