Patriot Launches Triple-Channel DDR3-2000 Kits

Patriot has extended its Viper series with the launch of triple-channel DDR3-2000 (PC3-16000) memory modules especially designed to Intel Core i7 processors and Intel X58 chipsets. Available in 6 GB (3 x 2 GB) kits, these new Patriot modules work up to 2,000 MHz with 8-8-8-24 timings at 1.65 V and support XMP (Extreme Memory Profiles) technology, which allows memory modules to negotiate with the motherboard chipset the best latencies and highest clock rate they can work in order to provide the highest possible performance. No word on pricing.
