MSI Launches N260GTX Lightning Video Cards

MSI has launched two factory-overclocked video cards based on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 GPU. N260GTX Lightning and N260GTX Lightning Black Edition work internally at 680 MHz (18.06% above default clock of 576 MHz), have 1,792 MB GDDR3 (reference model has only 896 MB) being accessed at 2,100 MHz DDR (5.11% above default clock of 1,998 MHz DDR), solid caps, voltage regulator circuit with 10 phases (8 phases are reserved for the GPU and 2 phases for the memory) and a Twin Frozr cooling system (two fans/five heatpipes). N260GTX Lightning Black Edition also comes with a 5 ¼” external touch panel that can change the card's voltages and clock speeds on the fly. No word on pricing and availability.
