Dell Unveils the World's Thinnest Laptop

Dell has launched Adamo, the world’s thinnest laptop, a title previously belonged to Apple Macbook Air. Adamo measures only 0.65”/1.65 cm thick (Macbook Air  measures 0.75” or 1.93 cm thick), weights 4 lbs/1.81 Kg (Macbook Air weights 3 lbs/1.36 Kg), has a 13.4” LCD display (aspect ratio of 16:9; native resoultion of 1280 x 720), Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB DDR3 (up to 4 GB), 128 GB SSD drive, Intel GMX4500 graphic engine, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 technology, integrated 1.3 Mpixel webcam, more than 5 hours of battery life (using Li-Polymer cells), two USB ports, one USB/eSATA port and comes with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit installed.

Adamo is available in pearl or onyx color and costs USD 1,999 (1.2 GHz Core 2 Duo SU9300 and 2 GB RAM) or USD 2,699 (1.4 GHz Core 2 Duo SU9400 and 4 GB RAM).
