Biostar Launches TPower X58A

Biostar has just announced its second motherboard based on Intel X58 chipset, TPower X58A. This socket 1,366 motherboard supports up to 24 GB DDR3-2000 (six sockets), has three PCI Express x16 slots (x16, x16 and x4) supporting SLI or CrossFireX technologies, one PCI Express x1 slot, two PCI slots, six SATA-300 (supporting RAID 0, 15, 10) ports, two eSATA (supporting RAID 0,1) ports, one IDE port, 10 USB ports (eight on the rear part of the board and two available through adapters), Gigabit Ethernet, 8-channel audio (Realtek ALC888S), SPDIF output (optical and coaxial), processor voltage regulator circuit with 12 phases (memory power voltage circuit with eight phases), Japanese solid caps and POST diagnostics display. No word on pricing and availability.
