Biostar Unveils AMD Dragon Platform Motherboard

Biostar has announced its first motherboard based on AMD Dragon platform, TA790GX A3+. This socket AM3 motherboard features AMD 790FX chipset (SB750 southbridge chip), supports DDR3 memory up to 1,333 MHz (max. 16 GB), has two PCI Express x16 slots, two PCI Express x1 slots, two PCI slots, one ATA-133 port, one floppy disk drive port, six SATA-300 ports (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10), one Gigabit Ethernet port (Realtek 8111DL chip), on-board video (ATI Radeon HD3300), on-board audio (Realtek ALC888), one Firewire port, seven USB ports (four on the rear panel and three via the USB brackets connected to the internal headers), and VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. No word on pricing and availability.
