Intel Launches Core i7 Processors

Intel has officially launched its first processors based on Nehalem microarchitecture, Core i7. Based on the new socket 1366, these 45-nm processors has four cores, integrated DD3 memory controller, 8 MB of L3 cache, HyperThreading technology, QuickPath Interconnect bus and are paired with Intel X58 chipset. Three models were launched, as you can see below.
