ASUS Launches Radeon HD 4800 Graphics Cards

ASUS has just launched two new graphics cards based on the latest Radeon HD 4800 series from AMD/ATI, Radeon HD 4850 and Radeon HD 4870, the latter hasn’t been officially launched yet. See the specs for these two new ASUS models below.

EAH4850

  • GPU: Radeon HD 4850
  • Core clock: 625 MHz
  • Memory: 512 MB or 1 GB DDR3
  • Memory clock (real): 993 MHz
  • Memory clock (DDR): 1,986 MHz
  • Memory interface: 256-bit
  • Memory transfer rate: 63.55 GB/s
  • Cooler: Glaciator Fansink
  • Bus: PCI Express 2.0
  • Connectors: Dual DVI-I, HDTV and HDMI

EAH4870

  • GPU: Radeon HD 4870
  • Core clock: 750 MHz
  • Memory: 512 MB DDR5
  • Memory clock (real): 990 MHz
  • Memory interface: 256-bit
  • Bus: PCI Express 2.0
  • Cooler: Glaciator Fansink
  • Connectors: Dual DVI-I, HDTV and HDMI
