Acer Releases Aspire One

Acer launches its first Internet device, Aspire One. Equipped with Linpus Linux Lite operating system, start up and shut down times are reduced to the minimum.

The new MID features Intel Atom processor, 8.9” LCD screen, built-in 802.11b/g WiFi, 512MB or 1GB of RAM memory installed and two alternatives for data storage: a NAND flash module of 8 GB or an 80 GB internal HDD. In addition the Aspire one reads 5 different types of memory card – Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, xD-Picture Card

It weights below one kilo, leaving a sleek, light and comfortable footprint that is truly and comes with a 95% full-sized keyboard for natural, easy typing just like you’re used to.
