Creative has announced the introduction of a new audio standard called Xtreme Fidelity. It is based on the upcoming X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity audio processor, which brings more than 51 million transistors and is capable of 10,000+ MIPS. According to the company, the X-Fi is 24 times more powerful than its predecessor. The multiple engine design dynamically direct resources through a modular architecture. New applications will be showcased this week, during the E3 Expo, in Los Angeles. | |
