ASUS releases the new GPS device, R300, which can play MP3s and videos, besides providing directions. The device is only 0.54” thick and 4.9 ounces in weight – making it the thinnest in its category, says ASUS. The 3.5" display is touch-screen and has resolution of 20x240 (QVGA). The R300 utilizes high quality 2D/3D maps with street names and has a built-in auto light sensor that adjusts the LCD display backlight according to current light conditions (Night/day/tunnels).
It supports Micro SD memory cards up to 4GB. The R300 also features Samsung 2440 400 MHz Processor, Windows CE 5.0, built-in 64 MB RAM and 128MB Flash ROM.
