MSI Ships X48 Series Motherboards

MSI launched its latest X48 Series motherboards based on Intel X48 Express chipset. The new Series supports the latest 45nm multi-core Intel processors & XMP (Extreme Memory Profiles) with up to FSB 1600 & DDR3-1600. The mobos X48 Platinum and X48C Platinum are equipped with enhanced fanless cooling design “Circu-Pipe” and water-cooling revision in the future.

X48 Platinum:    

  • Intel X48 Express Chipset Based
  • Supports Intel Core 2 Extreme/Quad/Duo Processors with FSB 1600/1333/1066/800MHz
  • Supports Dual Ch. DDR3-1600(XMP)1333/1066/800
  • New Circu-Pipe
  • 4 PCI Express x16 slots ( 2 runs x4 speed) supports PCIe 2.0 & ATI CrossFire X
  • 2 eSATA2 Support Matrix RAID & Port Multiplier @ back I/O
  • Supports dual Gigabit LAN

X48C Platinum:
  • Intel X48 Express Chipset Based
  • Supports Intel Core 2 Extreme/Quad/Duo Processors with FSB 1600/1333/1066/800MHz
