AMD has just launched its first Opteron processor models based on the new K10 architecture. Nine models were launched with clock speeds ranging from 1.7 GHz to 2.0 GHz. All these new models are based on “Barcelona” core, have quad-core technology, 65 nm manufacturing process, 512 KB L2 memory cache per core, 2 MB L3 memory cache, HyperTransport 1.x and socket 1207 (socket F) platform. Below you can see the Opteron “Barcelona” models launched today.
