Intel unveils at the Games Convention in Germany its new high-end X7900 CPU for notebooks. It is a new processor for its "Core 2 Extreme" series and runs at 2.8 GHz. The new CPU also features a 4 MB L2 cache and 800 MHz FSB. The new CPU is manufactured with the 65nm process. It’s expected to appear in products from Asus, Dell and Medion within the next four weeks. | |
