OCZ rolls out two new 1600MHz parts including the world’s first enhanced bandwidth high speed DDR3. The newest additions to the OCZ DDR3 family feature speeds of 1600 MHz. The new PC3-12800 Platinum Edition is rated to run 7-7-7-20. For enthusiasts OCZ is introducing the PC3-12800 EB (Enhanced Bandwidth) Edition rated for 7-6-6-20 timings on ASUS platforms. Both OCZ Platinum DDR3-1600 modules will be available in 2 x 1 GB dual channel kits and features a proprietary platinum-mirrored XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreader. | |
