Canon last week released two new affordable PIXMA photo printers. The MP510, priced at USD 150, is an all-in-one model with a foldable 1.9-inch color LCD and two built-in paper trays. The front of the printer includes card slots and a PictBridge port for compatible cameras. According to the company, the MP510 can yield a 4x6 photo in 47 seconds. Maximum resolution is 4800x1200 dpi. The iP4300 is said to print a 4x6 photo in 36 seconds with maximum resolution reaching 9600x2400 dpi. Document print speeds are 30 ppm (bw) and 24 ppm (color). The USD 100 model also features auto-duplexing for printing on both sides of the paper. | |
