ATI has officially changed the name of its Radeon Xpress 200 CrossFire chipset to CrossFire Xpress 1600. The purpose is solely to relate the product to the recently launched CrossFire 3200 (RD580). The main difference between the two chipsets is the number of lanes available for the PCI Express graphics slots (16 or 32).
